Trilome Sessions

What is a Trilome Session and
How Does it Work?

An Introduction to Trilome®

Trilome® is a revolutionary method known as Psychedelic Integrative Bodywork, created by Lisa Parker. It uniquely combines the therapeutic use of psychedelics with bodywork to support the physical, emotional, and spiritual bodies, offering an approach unlike anything else available.

At its essence, Trilome addresses the five interconnected dimensions of human existence: physical, energetic, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual. The method is designed to facilitate deeper, lasting healing by integrating these aspects ethically and holistically. The introspective state induced by psychedelics allows individuals to explore and understand their traumas or emotional challenges more profoundly. This psychological and emotional exploration complements the physical aspect of bodywork, which releases stored tension and blockages in the body. When these elements are combined, the physical release is synchronized with emotional and psychological release, leading to a more complete and transformative healing experience.

Lisa has revolutionized the field by empowering bodyworkers and massage therapists to bridge the gap between physical and emotional well-being. Her method provides a powerful and ethical framework for holistic healing, supporting clients in reconnecting with their authentic selves and facilitating deep, integrated personal transformation.

What Happens In A Session?

A Trilome session is a 5-hour immersive experience involving hands-on bodywork, with the client fully clothed, and incorporates the intentional use of psychedelics. It includes a 30-45 minute intake and introduction on how to work with the medicine, a body scan meditation as the medicine is taking effect, 4 hours of work with the medicine including bodywork, and integration.

Unprocessed trauma or emotions can manifest as chronic pain, anxiety, depression, PTSD, or other unexplained ailments. While bodywork serves to bring awareness to tension held in the body, the conscious mind often struggles to understand why the tension is present and how to fully process its release. By incorporating psychedelics into our sessions, Trilome enables a deeper facilitation of trapped trauma, old stories, and patterns within the body (whether subconscious or conscious), thereby fostering perfect balance and alignment within the physical, emotional, and spiritual elements.

This approach grants access to restoration within all three aspects of human existence, all within the same session, offering a truly all-encompassing opportunity for healing.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • It is pronounced: trī-lōm

Or ‘Try - Lome’ (rhymes with home)

  • Trilome means bringing balance to the mind, body, and soul using psychedelic integrative bodywork.

The word Trilome is inspired by Unalome, the Buddhist symbol representing a person’s path through their life is not a straight line as they search for purpose and enlightenment. This symbol encompasses every aspect of human existence as a singular form (Unalome).

Trilome identifies the aspects of human existence as three main components (physical, emotional and spiritual) which need to be balanced in order to support a person’s path through their life. This unique approach to healing brings awareness to the relationship between the three components and how they may be impacting each other. The intention is to identify the root cause of pain or misalignment in each, and as a whole, and open the door for deep healing.

  • Each session lasts about five hours, with you fully clothed and receiving close, attentive care to ensure your security and safety.

As the session unfolds, the hands-on work focuses on identifying areas of tension, restriction, or limited mobility. Using slow, sustained pressure, the practitioner gives you time to connect with these places and work with the medicine to explore what they hold—whether the source is your own or inherited (hello, epigenetics!), how it came to be, and what it needs for healing and release. As you engage in this internal work, the practitioner provides physical support, verbal guidance, and compassionate presence, always prioritizing your physical and emotional well-being.

  • Mostly, yes. However, it will depend on the type and dosage of what you are taking. This is an important question to discuss with your practitioner during your consultation, as the guidance will be tailored specifically to you.

  • First, the legality and accessibility of psychedelics have been evolving, and access to these medicines has historically been limited. Additionally, misinformation about their healing potential has contributed to their obscurity.

More importantly, combining psychedelics with bodywork is highly specialized. Touching someone while they are in an altered state requires advanced training, trauma-informed care, and a mature, experienced practitioner to ensure the work is ethical and safe. It’s a pioneering and transformative practice that’s only now becoming more widely understood and accepted.

  • In a Trilome Bodywork session, a smaller, carefully tailored dose of medicine is used, with the primary focus on the body and any stored tension, pain, or trauma. The session is specifically designed to bring awareness and balance to the five bodies that make up our existence: physical, emotional, energetic, intellectual, and spiritual. Through gentle, hands-on work, you engage with these areas of the body, using the medicine to release and heal on multiple levels.

In contrast, a Psychedelic Journey typically involves a larger dose of medicine, with no bodywork involved. The experience is centered on deep introspection, focusing on processing life experiences, belief systems, and your overall emotional and spiritual well-being. It’s important to note that the nature of a Psychedelic Journey can also depend on the type of psychedelic medicine you are working with, as different substances can lead to different experiences and healing outcomes.

If you’re unsure which approach is right for you, I’d be happy to consult with you about the differences and provide guidance based on your needs and intentions. Feel free to schedule a consultation to explore your options and receive personalized advice.
